Abstract:
Public social inclusion policies have as their central provision the integration of vulnerable social segments, that is, groups with difficulties in the socialization process. To achieve this, the government must take actions that truly guarantee the rights of all people and the support of democracy as an egalitarian political regime, especially opportunities. Within this context, this work's main objective was to analyze the implementation of public policies for the inclusion of young people in the job market, based on the study of the implementation of the Primeira Chance Program in the municipality of Sumé-PB. Regarding methodology, it is a case study with a qualitative approach, descriptive and exploratory in nature, qualifying as bibliographic. The results demonstrated that the program developed greater student proactivity at school and improved access to the job market. In conclusion, the research demonstrates that despite obstacles, the program obtained good results for the municipality, school and participants, in addition to identifying how public policies for productive social inclusion are efficient for the development of young people in the job market.
