Resumo:
The present work is the result of recent preoccupations, which have matured as we have tried to understand in a more humane way the current social, economic and political processes, worldwide, and particularly in Brazil. Alas, these concerns are the result of transformations, because in the last three years we have seen our way of seeing social reality. It seeks to find a way to study and understand the questions of the modernization of agriculture in the underdeveloped countries, not as an autonomous process, as the studies that are known, but above all as an expression of the general movement of capitalist accumulation. The limitations for the development of an empirical verification determined that the study should be restricted to the indicative, theoretical and general plan. In this sense, the difficulties consisted in that, a demonstrative analysis, it requires the closer monitoring of the reality, obviously for a longer period and probably with a field research that would take some years of work. Due to the fact that the present study refers only to an end-of-course paper, in which one intends to point out ways of analysis, which should orient the work to be developed in the future, in activities related to teaching and research; due to the limited time available for completing the work, it was based on secondary data, which, due to their limitations, are only indicative, as reference for the theoretical approach that was sought to develop. However, apart from limitations and imperfections, work, as a definition of a theoretical-methodological framework, has obtained a justifiable result, as it has awakened to reflections and concerns that have matured and properly worked out, may help to understand and explain the economic and social issues that so afflict this society today.
