Resumo:
The purpose of this experiment was to report a lived experience in a school in the city of Queimadas-PB. The main
motvaton was the lacv of contents that would relect on the importance of the valorizaton and constructon of the
identty of the students of the feld . In this perspectve, the present worv seevs to understand how the process of building the identty of the rural children, as well as to mave a brief historical rescue, conceptualizing the educaton of
the countryside, reportng its achievements, struggles and challenges, stressing the importance of considering the
context of the reality of students in the context of teaching and learning. The research, of an acton-research nature,
was carried out in a quant-qualitatve perspectve, through the pedagogical interventons during the classes. The
results showed that the experience was that despite the difcultes encountered, teachers and students in the feld
are building a school capable of changing their livesr that these schools provide the students with training for
citzenship, valuing their origins and the importance of the feld for the country, showing that the teacher of the feld
must develop a pedagogical practce considering the specifcites of children so that only then can we guarantee the
right to an educaton for our students.
