Resumo:
At the Escola Estadual Cidadã Integral Técnica Jornalista José Itamar da Rocha Cândido, the
teaching of Physics has gained a new approach through the implementation of gamification,
this being an innovative strategy that uses game elements to motivate and engage students for
more meaningful learning. Gamification in Physics teaching has provided not only a new way
to approach the content but also to stimulate collaboration among students, critical thinking,
and problem-solving. With this approach, students were able to experience Physics in a
practical and fun way, broadening their understanding and sparking even greater interest in
the subject. This experience demonstrates the potential of gamification as an effective tool to
transform teaching and promote meaningful learning. the work brings a general approach to
the teaching of physics as one of the fundamental disciplines for understanding the world. It
also explained the importance of experimental practices in Physics teaching and the
importance of gamification elements. The methodology adopted was a qualitative descriptive
approach, based on the experience report during the Pedagogical Residency Program in
Physics at the Escola Estadual Cidadã Integral Técnica Jornalista José Itamar da Rocha
Cândido (ECIT Cuité). In the results and discussion, the study results were presented,
highlighting the students' interest in the practices. Thus, the work offers important reports into
the relevance of gamification in the study of Physics.
