Abstract:
Considering public policies as agents of social transformation, this work investigated the impact resulting from the influence of textile entrepreneurship in the district of Cacimbinha, Municipality of São João do Tigre – PB. In the scope of regional development, collective action is strongly linked to the countless transformations that the community has achieved throughout its trajectory in valuing local productive arrangements based on the innovative initiative of the Aureliano family. The research was defined as descriptive, exploratory, qualitative in nature and through a case study. This work has the importance that the clothing factories in Santa Cruz do Capibaribe – PE had, as considerable transformations were made in the space, they became a booster in commercial expansion throughout the territory. The advent of transformations provides greater chances of economic growth, this fact requires partnership and union between governments and entrepreneurs to strengthen the generation of business, employment and income. From this perspective, the study aims to contribute to the direction of new research on the chosen area, allowing the strengthening of new entrepreneurial actions, as well as highlighting the community's efforts to build its identity and value opportunities in the business field.
