Resumen:
Amateur, or community, football is a type of sport that, as it is not subject to
professional organizations, produces its own, urban space that meets the
state and private production, linked to local communities, such as neighborhoods, among others
associations, constituting social practices that modify the landscape and move the
daily. In Severino Cabral, a complex in the Bodocongó neighborhood, in the municipality of Campina
Large, amateur football is represented by the football field - the fair's field - and its
associations and which has a heterogeneous dynamic since, on a daily basis, it presents a
space of little interaction with the rest of the community, with a change occurring on days of
games, when the landscape is changed and social relations turn to the practice of sport and
its dynamics. This work seeks to identify and describe social practices
related to amateur football on the field of the Severino Cabral fair, through the
associations and other agents. As urban space grows, requiring
new areas for various facilities, occupations of amateur football fields,
a situation that disintegrates football communities. With the advancement and popularization of
social media via the internet, amateur football gains new practice spaces, such as blogs
specialized channels and video channels with game broadcasts.
