Résumé:
This article presents an experience report during a paid Internship, through a project, which
aims to improve mathematical learning through play, developed in the Elective discipline, a
component of the diversified base of the New High School. Our objective is to understand how
a pleasurable education is developed through games, demonstrating the importance of including
play in the construction of the learning process, as a practical model of experience and a
transformative school pedagogy. The experience to be reported was developed in a mixed high
school class at an integrated public school, part of the state education network, located in the
municipality of Picuí in the Curimataú Paraibano region. The results presented reveal that there
was an improvement in the learning process with the inclusion of play in the presentation of
certain mathematical content. The application of the method proved to be effective, both in
improving students' concentration and participation, and in understanding the points linked to
the games. The development of this discipline brought its own didactic sequence based on the
Sustainable Development Goals (SDs), identifying the causes, consequences and possible
solutions for each problematization, associating these contexts with the content of the BNCC,
mainly Mathematics, and the students' daily lives and It provided interaction between students
and teachers, enjoyment of classes and interdisciplinarity. Essential components for effective
learning.
