Abstract:
In this work, it was studied the influence of concentration of vegetables residues (VR) plus anaerobic sludge
sewage (ASS) in the ratio of 80 more 20%, respectively (percentage by weight), called this substrate work in
the process of anaerobic codigestion (CDA). The experimental system was constituted of nine anaerobic reactors
with unit volume capacity of 1.1 liter and other complementary units. The experiment was carried
out on the basis of total solids concentrations of substrates were 36.2; 48.5 and 59,9 g ST.L-1. The reactors
were monitored at environment temperature and the monitoring period was 160 days. It has been found
that treatment with the best performance in terms of mass conversion efficiency of COD and methane gas
production ratewas the process of CDA of substrate with total solids concentration equal to 36,2 g ST.L-1.
