Resumo:
People management is essential for the success of modern organizations, given the market that
is increasingly fierce, demanding and constantly developing. In view of the above, the general
objective of this research is to evaluate how people management processes are carried out in a
Cosmetics Distributor in the city of Sousa-PB. Regarding methodological procedures, it was
carried out through exploratory and descriptive research with a qualitative approach, followed
by a semi-structured interview with the company manager. The results showed that there are
flaws, firstly the company does not have a formalized people management sector, the lack of
greater frequency of training leaves a gap in the quality of services, the lack of selection and
recruitment of people for the company, which is done informally. As a conclusion, it was
identified that the cosmetics distributor needs a specific people management sector and develop
practices to improve processes and quality of services.
