Résumé:
The mental health of individuals is a determining factor for productivity, engagement, and satisfaction at work, directly influencing organizational performance. Therefore, the research aims to investigate how promoting employees' mental health relates to organizational development. To achieve this, a descriptive study with a qualitative approach and bibliographic research in the Scielo database were conducted, selecting a total of 9 articles for a better understanding of the study. This article addresses the relationship between mental health and organizational development, highlighting the importance of promoting emotional and psychological wellbeing of employees in the workplace. It is possible to identify the positive impacts of investing in employees' mental health, as well as the negative consequences of neglecting this aspect. Creating healthy work environments that value the balance between personal and professional life is essential to promote organizational development and
competitiveness in the market. It is concluded that organizations should prioritize employees' mental health as a strategic investment for the success and development of the business.
