This research has as its object of study Neuroscience and Education in teacher training. General objective: to analyze through research-training, whether the neuroscientific findings are present or absent in the initial training of pedagogues of the Federal University of Campina Grande, campus of Cajazeiras/PB. What justifies this research from a scientific point of view is the gap in the initial training of teachers, given the lack of knowledge of neuroscientific foundations by several teachers. What motivates this study is the possibility of contributing to the production of knowledge in this area. As for the methodological path, it is a scientific research of a documentary and field nature, with a qualitative approach. The data collection instruments were the Pedagogical Project of the Course (PPC) of Pedagogy of the UFCG/CZ, voice recorder and conversation wheels, with five participants. The results obtained with the research showed that Neuroeducation is an absent theme in the training of teachers of the UFCG/CZ; the discussion of neuroscientific contributions occurs in a punctual and individualized way by some teachers; the socialized reports in the conversation circles, ratified the importance of knowledge about brain functioning for the foundation of the methodological choices of teachers.
