Resumen:
Micro and small enterprises (MSEs) play a crucial role in the Brazilian economy, significantly
contributing to the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, these businesses face
several challenges, including a lack of management knowledge, insufficient working capital,
and deficiencies in strategic planning, resulting in a high mortality rate, particularly among
individual micro-entrepreneurs (MEIs). The aim of this study was to apply tools to improve
strategic management efficiency in a small food industry business by using data storage and
analysis technologies. The research implemented an interactive approach to understand the
organization and its problems, utilizing tools such as BMC, SWOT, 5W2H, Microsoft Forms,
and Power BI. These tools enabled the company to identify areas requiring improvements and
to develop targeted strategies to optimize processes and enhance customer satisfaction and the
financial health of the organization. The integration of post-sale forms and a financial
dashboard, alongside the initial tools, provided more efficient management of the company.
However, challenges such as the team's lack of technological knowledge and resistance to
change were encountered. Despite this, the use of data to guide decision-making demonstrated
a commitment to excellence and adaptation to market demands.
