Resumo:
This dissertation considers that in Cosmology, the effects of Lorentz Invariance Violation (LIV) have implications for the inĆationary phase of the Universe. The idea is that in the initial phase, LIV acts non-locally in gravitational interactions, and then, in the phase of accelerated expansion of the inĆationary Universe. This additional mechanism for producing inĆation can be used to solve initial conditions problems. From this perspective, we must revisit inĆationary Cosmology through effective theories such as those involving ether-graviton, ether-inĆaton couplings. In this scenario, we must also develop theoretical and phenomenological mechanisms to impose new limits on LIV via current measurements of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB).
