Resumo:
The application of differential equations in the pharmaceutical sciences represents an
essential mathematical approach to modeling and understanding complex phenomena
related to pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic processes and drug formulation. This
study explores how differential equations are used to describe the dynamics of absorption,
distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs, providing a deeper understanding of
the therapeutic and toxicological effects. It also examines the mathematical modeling
of mathematical modeling of controlled drug release systems and dose optimization,
offering valuable insights into the development of more effective formulations. The analysis
highlights significant contributions of these mathematical approaches, highlighting the
importance of integration between pharmaceutical sciences and mathematics for innovative
advances in pharmaceutical research and practice.
