Abstract:
The professional role of the Neuropsychopedagogue has become indispensable in today's society due to the various situations of disorders and learning difficulties that permeate the social and school daily lives of students. Its action does not aim to build a new pedagogy or solution to all existing problems in the learning process, however, through neuropsychopedagogical action it carries out assessments and interventions aimed at preventing, diagnosing and overcoming these problems together with the family and team. multidisciplinary approach inside and outside the school institution, with a view to increasing the educational development of various subjects. In this sense, the study in question sought to analyze the contributions of neuropedagogical intervention and evaluation processes for the prevention, diagnosis and overcoming of students' learning problems. To this end, in its preparation, field research was carried out, in a qualitative approach, through non-structured interviews with 3 (three) clinical neuropsychopedagogue professionals, (02) two from the city of Cajazeiras – PB and another from the city of Luis Gomes – RN. Furthermore, to deepen the neuropsychopedagogical performance and intervention, a bibliographical survey was carried out based on theoretical contributions from different authors, such as: Rocha et.al (2021); Birth (2020); Avelino (2019); Silveira (2019) and Cruz (2005), among others, who helped in understanding the phenomenon studied. The research results elucidate that the role of the neuropsychopedagogue in today's society has become indispensable due to their neural knowledge, since through evaluative tests and interventions appropriate to the demands of each student, this professional can assist/direct students, their family members and the multidisciplinary team for significant development and overcoming the educational problems encountered. Therefore, the professional must be willing to dialogue with family members and other professionals who are monitoring the student to better understand and develop intervention strategies that will add to the development of students, with a view to preventing, diagnosing and overcoming learning problems.
