Resumo:
The present work discusses the influence of religious spirituality on teaching practice. It aims to allow reflection on the importance of the spiritual/religious dimension within the school, how it contributes to the promotion of human values and how it drives the transformation and construction of being na educator. The main objective was to verify whether the religious spirituality of teachers influences their pedagogical practice. In order to achieve these objective, na analysis of the subject was started through the studies of renowned authors, followed by a field study using a qualitative- descriptive approach with a questionnaire applied to tem primary school teachers from a public school in the city of Ipaumirim-Ce Based on the obtained results, it was evident that the teachers recognize the significance of a daily religious spiritual experience and how it impacts their teaching practice. From the point of view of the participants, this influence is positive and contributes to the relationships established in the school, between teachers and students, promoting values related to love, peace and empathy. It promotes changes in personal life, professional practice, and perceptions of self and others.
