Twenty-one oat
forage genotypes were evaluated in
1992 by CPPSE-EMBRAPA to select
oat forages adapted to the state of São
Paulo. Seven of these were selected
and evaluated again in 1994. Three of these, UPF 84297, UPF 86066, and
UPF 86081, showed good forage
yields and have the potential forrelease
as new cultivars with yields over 5000
kglha of dry matter.
