Resumo:
This work presents an analysis of the use of geogebra software in teaching geometry,
describing an experience with a 3rd grade high school class at a public comprehensive
technical school located in the Curimataú region, in the city of Cuité – PB. The research was
quantitative-qualitative and descriptive based on two questionnaires, one being applied to the
subject teacher and the other to third-year high school students with the objective of analyzing
the use of Geogebra software in teaching spatial geometry, more specifically on the content of
Plato's polyhedra and their plans. The conclusions show that the use of geogebra software in
the classroom in the geometry discipline can bring several contributions in relation to student
learning, as this technological resource facilitated the identification of edges, faces and
vertices, concepts that perhaps with just the use of the frame and brush would not be
noticeable.
