Abstract:
This work presents the trajectory of Chemistry Teaching in Brazil. Through the survey and
analysis of various sources, such as Google Scholar, with scientific articles by renowned
authors, one can learn about the emergence and development of Chemistry teaching within the
Brazilian system. The reason for preparing this study comes from the interest of understanding
how the teaching of Chemistry emerged in Brazil, its changes in methodologies up to the
present day. In view of the research, it is possible to observe that there has been a growing
emphasis on the integration of technology and digital resources in chemistry teaching, seeking
to make classes more dynamic and interactive, however, challenges still persist, such as the
lack of adequate infrastructure in some schools and the continuous need for teacher training to
implement innovative teaching practices.
