Résumé:
The present research aimed to discuss the contributions of playful practices in the education of children aged 4 to 5 and a half years old in the city of Poço de José de Moura- PB. The prioritized methodology was exploratory and qualitative research, using an open questionnaire with 06 (six) questions. In the theoretical framework, information was discussed about the analysis of playfulness and its means of facilitating the teaching and learning process, as well as the integral development of children. The references were obtained through studies carried out in bibliographic and electronic searches on the websites of Anped, Scielo, Capes, UFRGS Library, among others. The research was conducted in a municipal public school in Poço de José de Moura- PB, with the participation of 03 (three) Early Childhood Education teachers. Data analysis revealed the importance of playful practice in the educational context, showing that playfulness is an indispensable factor in promoting the integral development of children. In relation to the professionals who participated in the research, it was possible to observe that everyone agreed with playful practices, considering them fundamental to boost the children's teaching and learning process, making classes more fun and enjoyable. We conclude, therefore, that playful practice helps as a pedagogical resource for educators to identify progress in children's learning process.
