Resumen:
In spite of every progress reached recently by the organizational knowledge management, some problems were not still solved, such as: i) the knowledge transfer, usualty, is local and fragmented; ii)
organizations waste time and resources with transference of knowledge for workers that do not need it; iii) the knowledge transfer, usually, happens under demand in organizations, so that it can cost a
precious time; and Kr) the more rich and tacit the knowledge, more effort will be necessary to enable workers to directiy share it. The solutíon proposed in this thesis for these problems is based on the
integration of computer-supported learning in organizational knowledge management. Allied to the organizational knowledge management, computer-supported learning can provide learning addressed to
the organizational goais, contributing directiy to the organizational learning and for the increase of the competitive advantages of the organization (improving its intellectual capital). It can also benefit
the collaborators of the organization, which will learn what they really need for accomplishing their activities. However, these two structures need to be integrated in an appropriate way in order to the
organizational knowledge management to benefit the computer-supported learning, and vice-versa. The idea of the integration is not new. But what has been observed in the practice is the concomitant use
of these structures, where the knowledge that flows among them are not explored appropriately. This thesis proposes a strategy for integration of computer-supported learning in organizational knowledge
management, capable to provide more autonomy (knowledge without an explicit requisition), speed (knowledge transfer soon after the Identification of your need), objectivity (right knowledge for right
person on time) and effectiveness (more application of the knowledge) in the knowledge transfer, in order to solve the presented problems. However, due to the fact of the integration to be a knowledge
management episode and, consequently, to be subject to the bigh uncertainty degree and to the fast changes in the pre-requisites imposed by the knowledge society to these episodes, the validation of
its pre-requisites, i.e., of what is necessary so that its whole potential be used, and the verification of the goais that can be reached are not triviaS tasks. This thesis tries to surpass this chailenge by
proposing a systematic approach for supporting the validation of models of knowledge management episodes, which facilitates the validation of the specific set of pre-requisites for a specific episode, and
the evalisation (verification) formal of its properties. The verification of properties aílows checking which goals are reached depending on the set of satisfied pre-requisites. This approach was used
for construction of a formal model of a knowledge management episode representing how to improve the organizational knowledge management through the consistent integration of computer-supported
learning in its structure.
