Félix Araújo: O comunista paraibano da “redemocratização” de 1945 e os contrapontos com a memória coletiva.

Abstract

In the Paraíba, as well as in the remaining portion of the country, the “again democratization” of 1945 involved part of the students in the contrary movements to the varguista dictatorship with aspirations to the democratic freedoms then in evidence. In this context, we observe the strong pecebista militancy of the Cabaceiras city Félix Araújo in Campina Grande, that although this enrollment was gotten loose of the same still in the heat of the same “again democratization” (1947), becoming involved itself with the pessedista situation. Searching this politician we observe fort trend on the part of the historiography of Paraíba in “silencing” its moment next to the PCB, tending to elaborate a speech that points out it as a militant one of right; representation this that it contributed for the imaginary determined crystallization of one social one in the society of Paraíba that it liberates the biografado one of any possible ideological approach to the communism.
