Resumo:
The present work is a case study carried out in a building, the Evangelization Center of the Catholic Community Remidos no Senhor, located in the municipality of Pombal-PB. The study follows the method of the Building Inspection standard
- ABNT NBR 16747: 2020. It began with an on-site inspection for the diagnosis of existing pathological manifestations in the Evangelization Center. Photographs and visual records were taken, describing the possible causes and origins of the pathologies found. The inspection results revealed several recurrent changes in different environments of the building, such as moisture and infiltrations, cracks and fissures in walls, floors and ceilings, in addition to wear and dirt. Among these, the most common are endogenous, caused by execution or design flaws, with 83%, 10% were caused by lack of maintenance and 7% by external causes. Using the GUT methodology, 1 crack of 5.83 mm in the wall was identified as a priority, and delamination of the floor as a 15th priority. The main solutions include the removal of mortar coverings, waterproofing and new coating, carried out correctly and respecting the curing time.
