Abstract:
Family agro-industries are an important tool for the processing and processing of agricultural raw materials, presenting themselves as a way for farmers to remain in the field, allowing the diversification of family income. In this way, the PDCA Cycle offers a simple and easy-to-use model, and is therefore an important tool to be applied in agribusiness, taking into account the peculiarities of family agroindustry, such as the influence of external factors, seasonality and the unpredictable nature of agriculture. . In view of the above, the study's general objective is to analyze the use of the PDCA tool in administrative activities in a family agribusiness in the city of João Pessoa-PB. The present study adopted a mixed methodological approach, combining case study and literature review techniques. As a case study, we focused on a specific family agribusiness located in João Pessoa-PB, allowing an in-depth and contextualized analysis of the implementation of the PDCA Cycle in its administrative activities. It is concluded that PDCA is a valuable tool for the management of family agribusinesses, offering a structured path for continuous improvements and helping such businesses to adapt and prosper in a dynamic and challenging environment.
