Abstract:
The construction sector is one of the largest employers, but it faces significant challenges
related to workplace safety. Frequent accidents lead to high rates of disability and fatalities,
underscoring the urgent need for preventive measures. This article highlights the importance
of organizational culture in safety, emphasizing that worker awareness and compliance with
laws are essential. To address this, a case study conducted at construction sites in the city
of Pau dos Ferros - RN sought the perceptions of 20 construction workers regarding
workplace safety regulations. Based on the findings, an educational booklet was developed
to address knowledge gaps, providing clear information in simple language about safety
regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other relevant procedures for
construction workers in Pau dos Ferros - RN.
