Digital citizenship involves the development of effective and ethical skills in the use of technologies, always respecting fundamental principles, such as privacy, security and responsibility. Digital education plays a crucial role as an integral part of digital citizenship, going beyond the mere use of technologies and being the basis for the formation of digitally aware citizens. Digital education is key to preparing present and future generations, enabling them to successfully navigate the digital world, understand and apply technologies ethically and effectively. The growing demand in the job market for professionals with digital skills highlights the importance of digital education at all levels, fromtechnical programs to higher education. The essence of effective learning lies in designing engaging training programs that not only develop technical skills but also promote conscious digital citizenship. Within this context, this work aims to contribute to the promotion of digital education, providing a practical guide full of guidelines for the development of courses, with active methodologies and in the context of extension, which generate a significant impact on the community of the city of Campina Big.
