Resumo:
A multiprocessor system comprises of two or more processors sharing common hardware and software resources. In this thesis, a study of some multiprocessor architeture and
forns of resource sharing is presented.A multimicroprocessor for
real time applications, consisting of eight microprocessors M 6800, each with its private memory and 1/0 divices and sharing a common memory, has been developed. The access to common memory is controlled by a microprocessor based sincroniser. The program developed for management of corrmon memory, permits information
exchange between the processors via canmon memory.
