Resumo:
There is little discussion of architecture in medical and veterinary environments. And
the difficulty of planning these spaces is notable, due to the lack of parameters that
regulate their dimensions appropriately. There is also little literature on the subject. It
is common knowledge that the environment interferes with the behavior of human and
non-human beings and is an enhancer and contributor to the healing of sick patients.
However, the majority of architecture designed for animal health is adapted typologies,
often unsuitable for patients and staff, which can lead to damage to their health. This
is why this work sought to study relevant aspects of veterinary hospital architecture
with a focus on the specificities of its users, since this is important for treatment. The
aim of this work is to create a public veterinary hospital in the city of Campina Grande-
PB.
