Abstract

In the present report, the main activities carried out by the student Mateus Soares Marques, an undergraduate in Electrical Engineering, are described. These activities took place during his internship at the Embedded Systems and Pervasive Computing Laboratory, from February 6, 2024, to May 20, 2024. This report will discuss the fundamentals of battery characterization technology, the development of a characterization and cycling platform for Lithium-Polymer batteries, and the design of a thermal chamber for conducting tests in a controlled temperature environment.
