Abstract:
The increase in electrical accidents recorded each year is often attributed to failures in the proper sizing of electrical installations, lack of adequate maintenance, among other factors that can result in electric shocks and fires in commercial, residential and industrial environments. To ensure that electrical installations provide a safe, reliable and efficient power supply, it is crucial to follow a series of guidelines and best practices in the development of electrical projects. The technical professional responsible for the project must prioritize comfort and safety, considering the activities performed by the users of the space. This paper presents a technical project of electrical and lighting installations for a commercial establishment with multiple consumer units located in Colônia do Gurguéia, Piauí. The project was developed in compliance with the regulations of the E-quatorial Energia Group – Piauí, using its standard NT 004 EQUATORIAL-PI - Supply of electrical energy to buildings with multiple consumer units and following the guidelines of NBR 5410 (Low voltage electrical installations) and NBR I-SO/CIE 8995-1 (Lighting of work environments). This study covers everything from the estimation of loads to the dimensioning of the electrical energy supply by the concessionaire, culminating in the lighting survey carried out with the aid of the Dialux Evo 9.2 software. In short, careful dimensioning and correct installation of all electrical components are essential for the adequate structuring of the electrical project. When executed by competent professionals, the project not only benefits the enterprise, but also ensures the safety of people and animals that frequent the site.
