Résumé:
This works presents an interlace evaluation tool developed to be used with
windows applications. The evaluation method is empirical and the technique employed
by the tool is data monitoring. The data is collected in two phases. In the first phase,
the interface is analysed from the viewpoint of the interface design definitions, such as:
screen design, dialogue design, etc. The second phase monitors the user interaction,
registering his performance in respect to: error rate, help request, task execution time,
etc. The data collected during the interaction session is stored in a log file for later
analysis. This evaluation tool offers facilities to present the data in an easy way for
analysis. Finally it presents a case study with the analysis of die tools' results.
