Abstract

This report aims to describe the activities developed during the Supervised Internship carried out at the company Silvana Assa Abloy, by the student Tales Dmitri Araujo Lopes in the Product Management sector, graduating from the Mechanical Engineering course at the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). The internship began in December 2023 and ended in June 2024. This document details the main activities carried out throughout this period, including the preparation of visual management frameworks, feasibility analysis and payback calculation, as well as leadership in new product development projects. The experience provided by the internship was crucial for the development of engineering skills, ranging from the identification of business opportunities to the launch of products, applying theoretical knowledge and experiencing the daily practice of the manufacturing environment and developing management and leadership skills that are inherent to the activity of a mechanical engineer.
