Résumé:
According to Antunes (2012) and Neves (2020), words work as contextualization clues of the point of view defended in the text. They reveal, in this sense, functions, characterizations and semantic- lexical strategies in the organizations of some texts. In this view, orientating to the journalistic domain, we consider that the words’ choice, tell us a lot about the texts’ argumentative intention. Based on that, this study goals investigate how journalistic pages of antagonistic political orientation built a lexical field about the premature treatment against Covid- 19. So, to reach this bigger goal, we identify the point of view revealed in headlines, interpreting the meaning effects implied on the texts’ lexical classes and, then, we point ou the lexical-selection factors, considering lexical patterns presented in the headlines. To achieve that, we analysed eight journalistics headlines, four in each channel oriented to a political direction (right-wing and left-wing) , arising from six journalistics pages on Instagram, they are: right-wing, Jovem Pan, Folha Brasil and Conexão Política; left wing, Mídia Ninja, Carta Capital and Catraca Livre. To fundamentalize the research, we used lexical textual-interactive perspective (Neves, 2020), from the lexical-selection assumptions defended by Antunes (2012). Biderman (2001), Cardoso (2015) and other relevant authors and of the lexical-selection factors, understood as conditionating of the vocabulary choices, having as main authors Antunes (2012), Koch and Travaglia (2015) and Marcuschi (2008). We found as results of our research, that these pages reveal different lexical constructions, which, make us conclude that there are different points of view. We verified, still, what is said about the lexical-selection factors, which we have the topic as a bigger factor of vocabulary choice, behold the lexical strategy of the semantic association.
