Resumo:
The main objective of this study was to produce a Floral Calendar as an indicator of the Conservation Status of the landscapes of Pico do Jabre. The study was developed in the Serra do Teixeira National Park, specifically, in the area dominated by Pico do Jabre, located in the municipality of Maturéia/PB. Fifteen collections were carried out between November 2021 and December 2023. The floristic material was collected according to the techniques of Peixoto; Maia (2013). The Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (IVDN) was used to measure the conservation status of the study area. A total of 21 families subdivided into 73 species were identified. The most prominent families in terms of the number of species were: Fabaceae, with 15 species; Malva-ceae 11; Convolvulaceae with 10; Asteraceae 6 and Rubiaceae 5. It was observed that the flowering and fruiting of the species are directly influenced by the climatic conditions of the environment. Based on the results obtained through the IVDN, it was possible to confirm that the Pico do Jabre State Park has a positive conservation status. The plants present a state of synchronous flowering, this characteristic highlights that the area has an environment suitable for the maintenance and reproduction of the species, without environmental disturbances that could interfere with their perpetuation.
