Résumé:
In this final paper, an analysis of the post-truth conception was carried out based on authors such as Sônia Meneses (2020), Vera Alves Cepêda (2018), Michel Certeau (2002), Christian Dunker (2017) and Mario Sergio Cortella (2020), to discuss critically its importance to History. It represents itself through scientific denials and fake news to understand how it affects historical productions and inquiries, exploring its action in society, emphasizing politics and events that occurred from 2016 to 2023, and highlighting the analysis's importance in the face of scientific skepticism moment. The methodology applied is data collection procedures, carrying out a demonstrative investigation using the theoretical-methodological perspective, being represented by the analysis of the speeches of the new rights, more specifically linked to the Brasil Paralelo platform, using concepts from the Theory of History, such as the of historiography, criticism, post-truth, and denialism. The purpose is to do qualitative research with an analysis of discourses present in the media, exposing how this ideology operates by manipulating discourses, and employing rhetoric and narrative to persuade the masses. The need to contribute to theoretical and critical historiography is undeniable, applying a set of bibliographical sources which prove the action of the new rights in the media scene, using social networks as a tool for disseminating historical revisionists and denialists to keep the image of a right-wing savior of the country and the State, in the face of the social-economic imbalance that began with the various demonstrations throughout the world in the last decade.
