Resumo:
This research aims to reflect and problematize the experience lived in an Integral Citizen School (ECI) in Paraíba, through the Pedagogical Residency program, a History subproject of the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), throughout the year of 2023. The school in focus is Professor Itan Pereira, located in the Bodoncogo neigh-borhood, in Campina Grande S//N. The selected documentation consists of reports made in each module of the program, photos and school documentation. The decision to ad-dress my experience within the school environment came after being inserted and fully involved with the profession. The Pedagogical Residency provided a lot of learning, but I also faced many challenges, which I decided to explore in this research. The objective is to reflect memorially on this experience, establishing a parallel with my academic experiences in higher education and the teacher training process. I use the concepts of pedagogical practice and education by Paulo Freire (1996), dialoguing with the concept of experience by Jorge Larrosa (2016), and the concept of self-writing by Michel Foul-caut (1983).
