Résumé:
This work has the scope of analyzing, investigating and reflecting on the process of understanding and appropriation of the theoretical-practical unit and its refutations in the professional work of social workers. In addition, it is intended to reflect, critically, on the apprehension of Marx's critical social theory and its objectification in the professional daily of Social Service, providing critical-interpretative analyzes of the concreteness of the real, opportunizing to break with the fragmentation and superficiality of the reifying daily life through Theoretical, ideological and critical support that fosters concrete analyzes of social reality, including the correlations of forces that outrage the totality of social life. To do so, it is a qualitative study, developed through a bibliographical review, referenced renowned authors of the scope of Social Work and field research, conducted through a semi-structured interview with four social workers who work in the Social Assistance policy In the city of Pombal, PB, in the year 2017. This work was justified by the questions about the ways of understanding and objectifying the theoretical illumination of social workers in the daily operationalization of their professional work. In the course of the study, it was observed that there is a timid apprehension of critical theory by social workers in their professional work, evidencing obstacles in the process of objectifying the theoretical-practical unity and in the process of training of the professionals mentioned above, noting a series of weaknesses in the Process of mediation of the theoretical-methodological bases, ethical-political and technical-operative in the professional routine. It was pointed out the relative difficulties of social workers in understanding and incorporating theoretical and critical-analytical support in professional work, with a view to facilitating the flowering of concrete visions and mediations along with social worldliness. In this way, the immanence of postures and professional actions embedded by a pragmatic and (neo) conservative stalemate stem from the bourgeois rationality that disseminates fragmentation and immediacy in the reflections and analyzes about the social totality, culminating in a limited way and perfunctory to understand the concrete reality and to fertilize the mediations of Social Service professionals.
