Résumé:
This monograph aims to evaluate the Extraordinary Academic Regime at the Federal Uni-versity of Campina Grande, by the faculty of the Social Communication/Educommunication course during the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. The objective of this research was to understand how technological mediation occurred in the use of the PVAE and its pedagogical practices, previously carried out exclusively in person. The qualitative-quantitative research carried out from a questionnaire applied through the Google Forms tool, sought to describe the experience of teachers in relation to remote teaching during the Extraordinary Academic Regime (RAE) instituted by the Federal University of Campina Grande. The results presented a positive and unexpected reflection on reality, allowing us to understand how the teachers of the course were able to carry out their academic activities, thus minimizing the damage and/or impact on the teaching and learning process adopted and on the use of ICTs before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. We concluded that teachers were determined to teach their classes during a period of health emergency and also persisted in maintaining the routine of classes with their students, even remotely.
