Resumo:
This work addresses the experiences of supervised internships and PIBID in Geography at the
Federal University of Campina Grande – Main Campus, emphasizing the Covid-19 pandemic
period experienced between 2020-2022 and post-pandemic. The methodology adopted is
based on a qualitative analysis, in which the descriptions and meanings of the experiences are
structured from an autobiographical perspective and the bibliographical survey. Thus, aiming
to report how such facts influence and contribute to the training of Geography teachers in
training. For this purpose, the article was divided into three main points: 1. Stages I, II and III:
possibilities and challenges during the pandemic, 2. PIBID: experiences of the first
Geography teaching initiation program carried out exclusively remotely at UFCG-UAG and
3. Stage IV: the first contact with the post-pandemic classroom. With the research thus
seeking to enrich the knowledge of undergraduates in the area of Geography teaching,
through lived and reported reflections, emphasizing the importance of the internship and
PIBID in the teacher training process. The research revealed that many lessons were learned
from the period of social containment. The main one is that it is necessary to invest much
more in the digital training of students in Geography teaching.
