Resumo:
The construction industry is a relevant area for the economic development of the
planet, and, at the same time as it moves many markets, it is also one of the areas
most concerned with environmental sustainability, due to the high consumption of
natural resources and waste generation. This study's main objective is to carry out a
comparative technical analysis of thermal and acoustic performance between
conventional construction systems and drywall systems, seeking to evaluate and
understand how each of these systems behaves in relation to thermal insulation and
efficiency in different climatic conditions. It is considered an applied bibliographical
research and, from the point of view of the objectives, exploratory. Research was
carried out, bibliographical surveys based on books and articles, and the study of
existing legislation and projects. It is concluded that the use of drywall in masonry in
construction is a method that stands out in the market for providing several advantages
such as: ease of installation, faster assembly, less waste generation.
