Resumo:
In a trial carried out in Ponte Nova 'Município' (MGBrazil) the effects of irrigation Systems through furrow anã drip technique was studied on green pepper(Capsicum annuun L. ), 'aas
cadura Ikeda Cultivar' mature fruit and seeds, using he same
quantity of water and the same irrigation frequency. The irrigation was through a daily 4mm water blade with a 3 day irrigation frequency.
The trial was carried out in 'Podzólico Vermelho Amarelo
Cãmbico' Soil,in the year 1977. The arop was planted with a Im spacing between Rows and 0,4nv among plants. Manuring was
through 50g of the formula 6148 (N+P+K) + lg magnesium sul
phate per plant, and 3 manures per covering, consisting of 2Gg
of the mixture per plant every of 3 0 ™ dag. The harvests numbe
ring 14, were done weekly, the first of them on the thirtieth of
june, 1977.
Through the results obtained, it was observed that the
irrigation by drips and furrow had reaohed equal effect considering the normal fruit production, the percentagem of dry materzal in the pulp, the incidence of defective fruit, the seed production and germinative energy, when the same amount of water
was applied inside the same watering tum. The Systems disphayed a diffèrente behavior for the fruit médium weigh being on at
up to the first half of the harvest, the furrow was superior to
the drip Systems, the reserve occuring in the following harvests
The studied characteristics varied during the time of harvest,
showing a decrease in fruit size and germinative energy in aacordance with the time passed from the first harvest.
The percentage of dry material in the pulp was more important in the fruits picked up during the first half ot the to
tal harvest time, being the contrary for fruit and seed production.
