Abstract

Accessories for transmission line, such as wire anã his compression sleeve were tested with tension under usual conditi on ir order to know the behavior. The research analyse the function P - f(N) to compres sion sleeve to copper wire. In this function P is the rupture stress and N the number of compression. The * function A + BN + CNZ was the best representative of the tests. The sleeve with two compression supported 90% of rupture of the wire and presenteã the best results.
