Résumé:
The purpose of this work is the study of the degradation and the social, economic and ambient vulnerability generated by the disordered urban growth on a rural area, where was implanted the Mutirão, a residential set for a low income community, in the southwestern handle of the city of Campina Grande, Paraíba. The vulnerability indices had been considered high, aggravated for risk factors. The information gotten through applied questionnaires, visits and interviews with the inhabitants, associates the bibliographical data, topographical maps and products of remote sensors, permitted to create a geo-referenced database. The data overlap raised with the aid of software SPRING 4.1, allowed the confection of thematic maps, which can make a comparative degree on the evolution of the ambient degradation of the studied area.
