Resumo:
This text is themed motels of Campina Grande-PB problematized as being plural spaces that are used for many different practices, ie, beyond consumed place for romantic trysts of heterosexual and homosexual couples who seek to enjoy the moment two of the most isolated and discrete, are also occupied by groups of more than two people to fluid relationships and momentary, and are also consumed as a place suitable for consumption by the female prostitution, male preference be it heterosexual or homosexual. As some reports suggest the subjects interviewed in the field research campinenses motels are still used for various festivals and celebrations. The research presents the main themes and issues the following questions: how could the appearance of the motel room? What continuities and ruptures that space presents when compared to cabarets? How is it possible coexistence of cabarets and motels simultaneously?
