Abstract:
The success of a software depends on the attention paid to the entire development process, which involves a series of steps until the product is in production. In the context of the quality of this software, the use of bug reports provided by end users contributes to a greater understanding for developers, support teams, and maintenance teams, as they provide crucial information for implementing corrections or improvements to the system. However, the lack of information makes it difficult to understand bugs, precisely because there are cases where the user reports false bugs. Therefore, in order to recognize these cases and achieve proficiency in meeting the needs, it is essential to obtain details, be it with a title, scenario descriptions, step-by-step execution, severity level, attachments such as spreadsheets, and screenshots. This makes reading clearer, more objective, and concise. Given this scenario, through a qualitative analysis, we evaluate the quality of the information contained in these reports, whether or not there is standardization among them, also seeking to understand the difficulty users have in passing on this information, and, from this, indicate which formats of the approaches satisfy the parties involved for the correct functioning of the software.
