Résumé:
The study addresses the regulatory challenges faced by digital platforms in relation to data privacy, cybersecurity, competition, consumer protection and social responsibility. Digital transformation has driven the rise of digital platforms as key elements in interconnecting actors and facilitating transactions and interactions in an innovative and efficient manner. However, this rapid technological evolution raises important issues that need to be addressed to ensure a sustainable and equitable digital environment. The study aims to analyze these specific regulatory challenges and explore the governance strategies applicable to these environments, aiming to propose some improvement in a fair, transparent and safe business environment that promotes innovation and sustainable development. Governance strategies include specific regulations, self-regulation by digital platforms themselves, cooperation between companies, governments and civil society, transparency and development of technologies to promote user privacy and security. The study uses a methodology that includes interviews with experts, review of academic and technical literature, providing an in-depth understanding of the regulatory issues, governance and challenges faced by digital platforms.
