Abstract:
Time is extremely important when treatment is needed to cure illnesses. Unfortunately, patients who do not have the financial means to purchase certain medications and/or depend on the SUS to obtain them, die because they are unable to receive treatment in time, which makes it essential to connect potential donors of these drugs to those in need to combat this sad reality. . Therefore, in this work I propose the creation of a crowdsourcing social network for drug donations that will facilitate contact between donors, health institutions and patients, helping to combat this problem. The web application, developed using Firebase as a service platform and React as the main framework for the frontend, has users who can register and/or remove their needs, view a notification if their need is met and search for healthcare institutions if they wish. donate medicines. Health institutions, in turn, are responsible for checking whether medicines are suitable for donation, validating prescriptions and meeting needs, which generates a notification indicating where the user should pick up their medicines.
