A desativação do lixão de Bom Jesus -PB e a sua novo logística de resíduos sólidos.

Abstract

This research will discuss the environmental impacts suffered in the area of the old dump in Bom Jesus-PB. Defining waste as hazardous and non-hazardous, in addition to classifying them as: domestic, commercial, public, special household and debris from special sources. The main objective is to analyze the current logistics of solid waste in the municipality. To this end, the following methodological procedures were used: bibliographical survey, descriptive research, interviews, field research and, finally, data analysis and interpretation. During the work, some environmental impacts were identified in the study area, including: inadequate disposal of waste, burning, odors, as well as the absence of collectors. From this study, it was concluded that there is clandestine activity in the space analyzed. Therefore, supervision and better use of the area is necessary, in the search for contributions to the environment and sustainability.
