Abstract

In this report, the activities carried out by the student Lucas De Oliveira Lobo during the supervised internship at the Embedded Systems and Pervasive Computing Laboratory are described. This work details the modeling and development process of a Mach-Zehnder modulator to be used in a 56 Gbits/s optical transceiver. Comparative simulations were conducted according to the references obtained during the literature review. The results of these tests were promising, indicating the precision and functional adequacy of the device.
