Résumé:
This work aims to emphasize the importance of active and meaningful learning of geographic
concepts through the development of Maker Culture, using digital tools to stimulate students'
creativity in teaching Geography. Using methodologies that place the student at the center of
knowledge construction, promoting their autonomy and teamwork, stimulating collaboration
with the entire class. Having the 8th grade class of Elementary School at EEEF Monsenhor
João Milanês, in Cajazeiras - PB.In this perspective, this work seeks to evaluate the impact of
Maker Culture on their learning, focusing on geographic education and understanding how
students conceive the man-environment relationship, encouraging their autonomy and
protagonism, promoting collaboration and teamwork. For this, the qualitative approach adopted
allows for analysis in a broad context, promoting a collective reflection on the topic in question,
focusing on Participatory Action Research (PAP). This methodology allows for the active
participation of the researched subjects and the researcher, being characterized as descriptive.
Thus, the use of this approach is presented in a positive way, involving all students and
providing a contextualized understanding of the geographic space for the realization of citizen
education.
